| Job Description: | There are currently Full Time, Part Time and PRN openings with a work schedule ranging from 10:30 am to 7:00 pm and 6:30a to 7:00p. The scrub technologist is responsible for a portion of the perioperative care of the surgical patient by proficiently planning, implementing and evaluating the preparation of surgical cases and preparation of the surgical suite. The surgical technologist shall assist the surgeon during surgical procedures in a manner as to make the procedure safe, effective and smooth flowing while adhering to strict aseptic techniques. The surgical technologist is responsible for the preparation of surgical instruments and equipment as appropriate to the surgical procedure. |

| Qualifications: | High school diploma or equivalent preferred. Graduate of an Accredited Surgical Scrub Technologist program. Two (2) years of experience in a hospital or medical environment as a scrub technologist with significant ortho specialty experience preferred. Certified Surgical Tech preferred. Must be flexible with shifts and able to work holiday rotations. |
